Organisation Overview

Partnership for a New Life are a female led organisation with over 20 years of experience in the development sector, focusing on income generation and medical support, with the overall aim of eradicating leprosy within the region, the debilitating effects of which still blight local communities.

They are based in the South Western Terai region of Nepal and apply a dual focus of vital frontline medical care and direct community action.

The organisation is committed to the overall wellbeing of those living in poverty whilst enhancing the quality of life of those suffering the direct or indirect effects of the disease.

Why do they need this training?

The organisation’s wide portfolio of programmes means finding new sources of funding is crucial.

Your training on the creation of engaging proposals will be of huge benefit as they undertake an ambitious array of projects to improve the health of the community and impact their ability to generate new sources of income; alleviating poverty and raising living standards.

Who would fit this role?

PNL hope to find a talented individual with experience with grant proposals, ideally in the medical sector. Someone with knowledge of project management processes and the ability create and manage an engaging bid. They will be willing to challenge themselves, adapt to new experiences and use their own knowledge and skill to support the organisation and community.

This opportunity is open to pairs & couples

PNL are open to two volunteers delivering the training.
