Organisation Overview
Youth Forum for Human Rights (YFHR) are a youth focused organisation in Nepal whose aim is to “campaign for social justice” and lead their communities in social transformation.
Working across the population and various public and private institutions they run awareness campaigns and practical programmes to advocate and support equality and empowerment across all sections of society, with a specific focus on youth, gender based issues, equality and human rights.
Recent campaigns have highlighted and created awareness on issues surrounding child marriage, gender violence and domestic violence, all difficult topics in a socially conservative society.
Why do they need this training?
As a youth led organisation aiming to lead their community in social transformation YFHR have recognised a need to challenge themselves in improving their skills in key areas.Gaining experience of leadership and campaign management will improve the efficiency of their organisation and enable them to motivate the community and empower disadvantaged groups in society.
Who would fit this role?
YFHR are ideally looking to work with an experienced professional with an understanding of leadership or management training.Knowledge of managing community based campaigns or utilising social media in organising events or fundraisers would be beneficial, as would experience of social enterprises.

YFHR are happy to accommodate two people and are open to two volunteers delivering the training.
