Organisation Overview

Youth Forum for Human Rights (YFHR) are a youth focused organisation in Nepal whose aim is to “campaign for social justice” and lead their communities in social transformation.

Working across the population and various public and private institutions they run awareness campaigns and practical programmes to advocate and support equality and empowerment across all sections of society, with a specific focus on youth, gender based issues, equality and human rights.

Recent campaigns have highlighted and created awareness on issues surrounding child marriage, gender violence and domestic violence, all difficult topics in a socially conservative society.

Why do they need this training?

As a youth based organisation aiming to lead their community in social transformation YHFR have recognised a need to challenge themselves in improving their skills in key areas.

Who would fit this role?

An experienced web designer with an understanding of cross platform content creation and sharing and utilising all online tools to create a coherent message or call to action would be ideal.

A background in IT tutoring or the confidence to train basic Windows based applications would be beneficial.
